An old friend returns: the classic barn coat the classic american field coat was a cornerstone of our heritage for many years, and we’ve worked hard to ensure this revival remains true to everything that made its predecessor a can’t-live-without coat for so many guys. Corduroy collar? Present and correct. Flannel lining? Check. And the signature roomy pockets, of course. It’s light, yet robust, so easy and practical: wind and showers, no big deal. We did upgrade the canvas shell though, which originally would have taken time and patience to break in. Today’s edition is carbon sueded – remarkably soft and supple – so your new jacket will have the feeling of a timeworn favourite from the moment you first put it on. Welcome back, old friend.
